CJ3+ Luxe aka Eagle Two

This highly upgraded CJ3+ Luxe is one of the fastest climbing and most fuel efficient light jets on the planet with similar range to a Phenom 300E, PC-24, and CJ4 while incurring much lower fuel burn.

In warm conditions at sea level, the CJ3+ Luxe has substantially more range than a Phenom 300E. It climbs to 45,000ft faster than a Phenom and cruises at very similar speeds at that altitude.

While official book values imply a max TAS of 416kts, it is common to realise TAS speeds in excess of 420kts.

The CJ3+ Luxe has a comparable max pax payload to the Phenom and CJ4 and >2000nm max range but with radically reduced fixed and variable costs.

Unique amongst the light jet class, the CJ3+ Luxe’s bleed air heated windshield does not prevent the use of a Starlink mini antenna (with an Aviation licence) for extraordinary 250-300mb/sec download speeds. In jets with copper heated windshields, Starlink is very difficult to operate.

The CJ3+ Luxe’s cabin width and height is identical to the CJ4 with the benefit of quieter operations due to lower engine noise.

Key features include:

  • Best specified CJ3+ in the world with Starlink
  • Garmin 3000 avionics with new FDR and CVR
  • New modular side facing seat and refreshment center to extend max passenger seating to 9 persons
  • Custom PPG paint livery with carbon fiber fades on engines and tail and stars under wings

  • Custom mirrors on aft lav wall and aft aisle walls to maximise sense of space
  • Custom carbon fiber/leather tables

Super Sovereign XP aka Powerderbird One aka Big Dawg

The “Super” Sovereign XP (for extra perofrmance) built by the Luxe Design Studio was a highly customized private jet that was operated by Thrive Aviation, a charter and management company based in Las Vegas/Henderson, Nevada.

It was a 2025 refurbished Cessna Citation Sovereign (flying under the tail number N680XP) that was given the “Super” and “XP” monikers because its aftermarket upgrades allow it to outperform both the standard Sovereign and the upgraded Sovereign+. Here is a breakdown of what makes it unique:

Extra Performance (XP): The jet is equipped with massive “XP” winglets that drastically increase its aerodynamics and efficiency. It boasts a cruising speed exceeding 530 mph—claimed to be the fastest in its class. It also features a maximum range of up to 3,200 nautical miles, exceptional runway capabilities, and the ability to climb to 45,000 feet in just 25 minutes.

Bespoke Interior: The cabin was completely redesigned in 2025 with high-end finishes. It features black, leather-stitched high-performance seating and a spacious two-zone layout that includes a large divan. For added privacy, the two cabin zones are separated by a unique carbon fiber curtain.

Modern Amenities: Built to comfortably accommodate up to 9 passengers, it offers unparalleled baggage capacity for its class, high-speed Starlink WiFi, 110V and USB power outlets at the seats, a fully enclosed lavatory, and a partial galley with a Nespresso maker.

In farewelling the Super Sovereign, the design team commented:

One final farewell to Big Dawg aka the Super Sovereign aka Powderbird One because she was built to help us crush heli-skiing lines. We poured so much love and care into this machine, which was like a child. She performed brilliantly and was unique – the first classic with Starlink, winglets, brand new black leather and carbon fiber interior, including 3 seat divan and carbon fiber curtains, an extraordinary livery, and the patented Big Dawg painted on the engine nacelles. She flew across America, down through the Caribbean, across the Atlantic to the UK, into Canada and much more. We put circa 710hrs on her in 9mths and she was pretty flawless, pulling up to Mach 0.80 at FL450 and ripping to that altitude in under 20mins. We regularly cruised at 470 and close to Mach 0.80. Her fuel burn was stunning, as low as 237 gallons per hour in January. Textron build great machines. We were lucky with SN282 – no corrosion issues and a beast of a short runway and high payload specialist that could take 8 guests with over 1000lbs of luggage coast to coast with ease.
